What matters in use
A board should fit the way it is handled every day. Size, weight, wood species and surface finish matter more than a loud product name.
We keep the construction honest: solid wood, clean sanding, oil and wax instead of a sealed plastic-like surface.
Wood, shape and feel
Oak feels bright and marked, walnut is darker and calmer, larch can feel warmer and more rustic. End grain brings more presence, edge grain keeps things lighter.
The best choice is the one that will actually be used, cleaned and enjoyed often.
Care and ageing
Wood should not go into the dishwasher and should not be soaked. Wipe it clean, let it dry freely and refresh it with a thin layer of suitable oil or balm when the surface feels dry.
Used well, a solid wood board develops patina instead of becoming disposable.
Made on request when useful
For special sizes, engraving or a particular use case, a short direct inquiry is often clearer than guessing from a product grid.
Tell us what the board should do and where it will live. We will answer with a practical recommendation.
